What Kyra acts in

Kyra Pastrovic is the Director of Vamp Law, a Sydney litigation practice. She acts in civil litigation, including contract disputes; in commercial litigation, including insolvency, insurance law, contract law, banking law, trade agreements, partnerships, debt recovery, commercial liability, business law and construction law; and in personal injury, including medical negligence, car accident, wrongful death and institutional abuse claims, and coronial inquests.

In personal injury work, Kyra acts for injured people in some matters and, in other, separate matters, for insurers and organisations defending a claim. She does not act for both sides of the same dispute: each new matter is checked for conflicts before it is accepted, and she will tell a prospective client plainly if Vamp Law cannot act.

Her background

Kyra has a lengthy history representing state government agencies, commissioners, politicians, premiers and other departmental heads, alongside some of Australia's biggest insurance companies.

She has worked in a number of Australia's leading law firms, acting for international and national commercial clients, and she teaches law at Western Sydney University.

Kyra takes a modern, tailored and personalised approach to each client. Her advice is direct and clear, and focused on the strongest outcome available.

Working directly with the Director, rather than being handed between staff, means a client's matter is handled by the same person from the first conference through to resolution. Advice on cost, timeframe and likely options is given plainly and revisited as a matter progresses, rather than left for a client to ask about.
