Three areas of law, one practice.
Vamp Law acts in three areas of law. Civil litigation covers contract disputes, with plain-English guides to how contracts work. Commercial litigation covers the disputes that arise in business: insolvency, insurance law, contract law, banking law, trade agreements, partnerships, debt recovery, commercial liability, business law and construction law. Personal injury covers medical negligence claims, car accidents, wrongful death, institutional abuse and coronial inquests, for injured people and families and, in separate matters, for insurers and organisations.
Most enquiries do not arrive with a label attached. A creditor chasing an unpaid invoice may find the debtor company entering administration, which moves a recovery matter into an insolvency process partway through. A dispute between two businesses may turn on what their supply agreement required. The pages below are a way to find the right starting point, not a set of boxes a matter has to fit.
Both sides of a dispute.
Vamp Law acts for individuals, sole traders, companies, directors, insurers and organisations. Acting on both sides of personal injury matters, for injured people and for the insurers and organisations defending claims, means the same view of risk and liability is brought to every client, whichever side of a dispute they are on.
Every matter is run directly by Kyra Pastrovic, the firm's Director, rather than handed to a team of juniors.
NSW courts and tribunals.
Civil disputes in New South Wales are heard in the Local Court, the District Court, the Supreme Court or the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal depending on the amount in dispute and the kind of claim. Which forum a claim belongs in affects the cost and the timetable, so it is assessed before proceedings are filed rather than after.
Vamp Law is a Sydney practice and acts for clients across greater Sydney, in person or remotely.
